Our go-to Mexican joint. The beef-filled Chile Rellano and chicken enchiladas with mole verde were outstanding! Always attentive service.

EXCELLENT VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN OPTIONS!!I have not been to the restaurant but ordered grub hub and it was delicious!! I lived in Mexico for several years and this took me right back. Presentation has a fusion flair, but the flavors were perfect! Great molé!! I’ll order again for sure!!

This is a great Mexican food option in Chicago. In my opinion, it’s probably one of the best options you have in the city. I am from the west coast and have lived in San Diego so I do have high standards when it comes to Mexican food, but I really enjoy this place. It strikes the perfect balance of cozy atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and good food. Margs are good too!I would recommend this place as a great go-to weeknight option or casual Friday night dinner if you forgot to make reservations. It’s become my “old reliable†in the Lakeview neighborhood. I can come without a reservation, get a table quickly, and know I will enjoy good food. I would give it 5 stars if the food was phenomenal, but to be fair, I am yet to find a 5 star Mexican food restaurant in Chicago, including all Rick Bayless restaurants!
